guitar!

So this christmas has been amazing! i got to spend christmas at my aunts house and my grandpa came from maryland! i was so happy to see everyone. i also got a dress form so now i can sew and stop putting it up to myself every three seconds i cant wait to put it into use.  Tanner even got me a guitar to play! hes going to be teaching me and i cant wait ive always thought guitar was such a fun instrument. i love christmas time sooo much.

the easiest shirt

all it is is a rectangle. fold it in half. the folded part falls on the shoulders. sew up both sides but leave room for arms. and badabing badaboom! easy.

curled up do

This is my sister Keslie she was so sweet to let me do her hair. I braided the front bangs back then put the hair into four pony tails. I curled every piece and pinned them up randomly I thought it turned out good!

first long sleved dress!

So i pretty much spent all of fall break sewing! this is one project I got done. Sorry for my lack of posting everyone i am just so stressed with school! going to high school and hair school is a lot of work but i love it. It was so nice to get a weekend off and take some time to blog : ) love you all thanks for looking!

One thing i love about utah is the mountains! all the colors during fall are beautiful. its so nice to go up there and just get away for a little bit. fall is my favorite season.

cake bites

These are so yummy! okay easy directions too. I made lemon and chocolate mint.

Ingredients:
Cake mix box
frosting (I mix cream chesse and powdered sugar)
chocolate of your choice

Directions:
Bake cake as directions say. take out and cool. Mix frosting with cake to make a thick mixture. Roll into balls and chill in fridge. Melt chocolate in bowl and dip the balls into it. put on wax paper let chocolate harden. Enjoy!

messy bun up do

i made a normal bun where you put it in a pony tail then dont pull hair all the way through. Then i pulled peices out and booby pined them to my head in loops.

Parfait

This morning my mom wanted something special so we decided to make parfaits. its so easy and im sure you have all made it. yogurt, strawberries,whipped cream, granola. repeat repeat. Easy! and that last picture is taken right in front of our very own strawberry patch : )

one hour dress

I pieced this baby together in one hour before church! it was my moms old skirt that i snatched at our family garage sale before it sold! she thought it was amazing that i changed it so much. i love how i didn't even spend a penny on such a keeper.

i made this shirt. it was different than my other box shirt but same shape! i love it and had to share : ) ive been in a sewing mood lately

just because

Hey everyone! this is just a little show off of photoshop editing. i love photoshop for these types of things. I also wanted to show you the quote on my first picture. "To see a rainbow you must first deal with the rain" its so true to me because usually after a really hard time the best things happen either during the hard times like a rain bow or after wards. I saw a rainbow the other day and it reminded me to keep moving on.

Look this is so easy! you cut out two squares. sew the sides together up until where you want your arms to go through. Then cut out a neck line. sew the shoulders together and your done! i added a pocket to make it a little cuter. Me and my friend Madison made this kind of shirt together.

vans re-do

 These were vans i used to think were cool. i got sick of the orange checker board style and i wanted somthing different. by adding the lace and brown to them i really like them alot more!

plain to fancy jean pockets

This was simple... cut out the size of lace you need and sew the sides to the pocket and...WA la! simple to fancy in minutes. I got the lace at Handcock fabrics for only $1.50 for the whole spool! these are brand new jeans for only 10 dollars at forever 21. talk about super saving!

lace love

I Always get so sick of layering a dress with the same cardigans so i decided to put sleeves on it! its a nice modest way to stay cool in the summertime and still be fashionable.

re-style ruffle shirt

This is my new way to get school clothes. I go buy simple things with no pattern and make them into my own signature clothing brand : ) i love it because its super cheap and cute! plus nobody will have any of the clothes that i do (not to mention that its super fun to use my creativity).

 This is Madison and Loys. they are now engaged and wanted me to take their photos. I was thrilled that they would give me this great opportunity! We went to a beautiful park with a lot of farm land and I thought it was the perfect place to take their pictures. she wants to have a country like wedding. they are so adorable together and I hope you enjoy these photos.

These are moccasins that i made! i got a kit from the scout store and just tied them together only 15 dollars! you can find them at any scout store in different colors. the scout store is not only for boys.
